About Annabelle Lassiter

            My name is Annabelle Lassiter and I have always admired Disney Princesses. When I was a child I practically had all the movies memorized and never thought anything of it, but as I got older I heard rumors that these Princesses may hold more for children than just what lays on the surface. I had been interested in investigating these presumptions further and this thesis assignment was an amazing opportunity to do so, so I took it. 

    

            Next year I will be attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida to study elementary education. During my thesis studies, I found lots of information on the effects Princesses can have on young children in a classroom setting which will allow me to be prepared for these behaviors in the future when I become a teacher.
